DHMI 2004 ANNUAL REPORT

Under Article 5 of Decree-Law No. 233, the competent and responsible decision-making body at the highest level of DHMİ is the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors, chaired by the Director-General, is composed of one President and five members. The Director-General is nominated by joint decision, upon a proposal from the Minister of Transport; members are nominated by joint decision, including two upon a proposal from the Minister of Transport, one upon the proposal from the minister who has the Treasury amongst his attributions and two from among the deputy Directors-General for the Administration, upon a proposal of the Minister for Transport, for a three-year mandate.
