1. The personnel working according to the shift turns will work in teams and in conformity with the shift lists that will be made by the Airport Cheif Management/Management.

2. The personnel other than the personnel working according to the shift turns will comply with repular working hours. The holidays for these personnel are Saturday and Sunday..

3. Before the end of the working hours, Airport ATC units will contact with the related area control centre in order to confirm whether there will be a planned aircraft for their airports after the working hours. If there is no planning, administration will be done according to the determined operational hours..

4. Expect for Item (5), Airport Managers are authorized to extend operational hours on their own for the aircraft which has taken off from a departure airport but requests take-off after the closure time of that airportfor delays, schedule changes and for the aircraft which declares emergency.

5. The request for the extension of the airport operational hours due to an additional flightbeing an alternate airport will be made to the Airport Chief Management/Management at least 2 hours prior to closure time of the airports at weekdays and at least 2 hours prior to the end of the previous day at the weekends. If the request is found acceptable at the end of assessment, the extension of operational hours will be done through the coordination of Ankara Esenboğa Airport Duty Management..

6. The flight requests for holidays will be made through the coordination of Ankara Esenboğa Airport Cheif Management/Duty Management after the necessary agreement is reached with the destination Airport Chief Management/Management at least 6 hours before take off. After the airport is opened to air traffic, the flight will be made. While coordinating with the Airport Chief Manager/Manager, the provision of airport fire safety as well as security precautions by coordinating with the Airport Deputy Governorship, and also additional coordination with the passport and customs units for the international flights for which permission is granted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and implementation of DHMI Charges Tariff in all cases is required. 

7. If the take-off in from an uncontrolled airportif the landing is to an uncontrolled airport, the responsibility regarding the security precautions and the coordination with the Airport Deputy Governorship within the context of Item (6) belongs to the person/association/institution/authority that will request landing and/or take-off for the mentioned flight. This issue (taking security precautions from Airport Deputy Governorship/security authorities) will be couched in writting to Ankara Esenboğa Airport Duty Management in the requests of extending the operational hours of the airport/opening of the airport to air traffic. Confirmation of the information/documents is essential.

8. On the other hand, information about refuelling at the airports is available in the airport information pages of Turkish AIP. In addition, grounhandling services are not provided at Balıkesir-Mekez Airport. All of responsiblities and the precautions regarding the provision of refuelling and groundhandling services as well as compliance with the rules metioned in the AIP and the NOTAMs will be taken on by the aircraft pilotairline which will make the flight.

9. The necessary permissions for the airport a permissible status under the General Protocol on the Principles of Civil Aviation Operators` Making Use of Military Airports the Ministry of Transportation and Turkish General Staff, have to be received from the military units through Ministry of Transportation by the airlines that request the opening of the permissible airport.
