​As per the decision taken by the National Civil Aviation Security Council, liquid limitation will be initiated by April, 1st 2012 in all domestic and international flights (March, 1st 2012 for Atatürk Airport and Sabiha Gökçen Airport). Liquids to be carried should be placed in a box, bottlea similar container of 100 ml volume in a 1- liter plastic bag.

There is no restriction regarding carrying liquids in aircraft baggage. Liquids in the amount permitted by the airline company and customs regulations can be carried in aircraft baggage.​​​
