With its international standard training infrastructure, strong team, and physical facilities, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure DHMI Aviation Academy celebrated its seventh anniversary, and continues to achieve success on a global scale.
DHMI, the shining star of civil aviation, is steadfastly meeting all the requirements of the current information age. Harnessing the power of knowledge, the academy shares it through both in-house training activities and organizing essential training programs for the aviation sector.

Since its opening, 266,938 individuals have participated in education at DHMI Aviation Academy.
With a deep-rooted educational tradition and a modern educational vision, the academy continues to make a name for itself internationally by providing quality training in accordance with ICAO and EUROCONTROL criteria.
From the day of its establishment to the present, a total of 266,938 individuals, including our organization's personnel and other stakeholders in the aviation sector, have received training on various aviation topics. This has resulted in a total revenue of 13,381,144.48 Turkish Lira from these training programs.
In 2023, 43,217 personnel received training at DHMI Aviation Academy
In 2023, DHMI Aviation Academy provided training to 43,217 personnel, catering to the needs of all units, especially in the fields of navigation and operations. Successful students who completed the training process were presented with diplomas/certificates/participation certificates.
In addition to face-to-face training in 2023, training was also conducted through remote learning methods using the "Training Management System" provided by the Aviation Training Department Presidency.
Training in Accordance with the Requirements of the Age
At DHMI Aviation Academy, a technological infrastructure that meets the requirements of the digital age has been provided, and education continues to be delivered through the 'Distance Learning Platform.'
Using the remote education platform, the Aviation Academy provided online and video-based training to 51,114 participants.
Furthermore, by offering remote education services to national and international sectors, approximately 20 million Turkish Lira in savings were achieved.
Saving 17,397,000 TL with DHMI Training Management System
DHMI Aviation Academy, aiming to maintain its high-quality education as an aviation university, continues to meet demands from national and international sectors with its experienced staff and educational faculty, believing in the power of knowledge.
In this context, in addition to the training of our own personnel, in 2023, Basic ATC Course and Basic AIM Course were provided to the Air Traffic Control personnel in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), and Aircraft Fire Simulator training was organized for TAV LLC Georgia (Georgia) personnel at DHMI Aviation Academy Erzincan Facilities. Efforts and planning are ongoing in 2024 to meet the demands coming from other countries.
Training support was also provided to the personnel of the Presidency Protection Services General Directorate, the Ministry of Interior Gendarmerie General Command, Nişantaşı University Air Traffic Department students, as well as TAV, HEAŞ, HAVAŞ, THY, Petrol Ofisi A.Ş. companies. As a result of the external training services provided in 2023, a revenue of 2,840,710.64 TL was recorded.
